We had an amazing Christmas full of lots of family! Christmas parties every night! Gotta love it! We are looking forward to celebrating our 1 year anniversary in a week, my birthday in a couple weeks, Brig’s brother Chandler coming home in 6 weeks, and last but definitely not least…our baby boy Maddix coming to join our little family in 7 1/2 weeks! :)

On Christmas Eve I went over to my parents while Brig hung out with his brother, and we made doughnuts!

The day after Christmas I went shopping with my sisters and mom to use some gift card money!

We’ve Moved!

It’s not as big as we were hoping…but not too shabby for a first home eh?
Ok fine. So that’s not really our house…but it’s similar! Ours is just a couple thousand square feet smaller, front yard a tad bit smaller and not as green, and not so many pillars…if any. Or trees. Or balcony’s.
BUT, we do love having a house! It’s a fun change and it will be nice for when the babe comes! Brigham and his brothers and dad have been doing a lot of yard work on it including de-greening the pool, cutting down random plants {such as a cactus, dead citrus tree, over grown mesquite tree, many ugly bushes, dead/over grown/unnecessary palm trees. ETC} The house has lots of work to be done on the outside, but the inside is pretty much put together.

{SCHOOL & WORK)

Brig and I have both been staying quite busy with school and work. He’s doing very well at University of Phoenix! He’s loving his job and just got made Team Lead which was exciting since he hasn’t even been working there for a year. He’s doing classes there and I’m almost done with my semester at CGCC. I’ll be applying for Dental Hygiene in January. YIPPEE. I’m still working at Asrari Endodontics part time and loving it!

Yes, we did come up with a name. {Maddix Brigham Weight} is the little boy who we can’t wait for to join us in February! He’s still kicking like crazy and never sits still. He’s going to be just like his daddy! I’m 26 weeks along…~14 to go!

In October, my sister and brother in law took us to Rocky Point with them. We stayed in a nice resort on the beach. We had so much fun!

This post is also in memory of my far away sis. I admire her.
She packed up her bags, left her home, left her pregnant sister, and moved to Boston.
Did I mention that she doesnt have a car or job there? ...Might I add that she is looking for one!She did find a place to live at least so that's a plus!

It’s a Boy!

Can you see it? Well…it’s there! And it’s a boy! We’re way excited! Everything looked healthy and we can’t wait for him to come around February 20th!

Ode to BriGhAm WeiGhT.

 

Hi everyone…I just want to let you know a little about my husband. Brigham is pretty much the best husband anyone can ask for. IDEAL would be the word. Brigham is the type of husband that is always keepin me on my toes.

- Never a dull moment with Brig. Whenever I’m tired or grumpy (well first I pull the Pregnant Card…) he always finds a way to turn my bad mood right around!

-Brigham works 12 hr days mon, tues, wed, and 10 hr days thurs and fri. When he gets home…he definitely does not show it! Happy as can be and ready to greet me with a big hug and kiss and willing to make dinner when I’m too lazy.

-Which brings me to the next point…Brig is an amazing cook! He loves to grill…epecially fish that he caught in Alaska. It’s so nice to have a husband that enjoys cooking when I don’t feel like doing it myself.

-Brigham is unselfish…always thinking of me first. He’s always asking what I feel like doing..where I want to eat…what movie I want to watch.

-Brigham is a stud. So talented! Athletic, musical, incredible at Spanish, and good at pretty much anything he tries.

I love you Brigham! I could go on more…but the bloggers are probably thinking this is getting a little too mushy! Thanks for being the my favorite…only :)… husband in the world. Thanks for putting up with my pregnant self. You’re a gem :)

Shelby Weight

Hey everyone, so I wanted to let you know how amazing Shelby is. ( This is Brigham, just to clarify) She is an amazing person who is so positive. The greatest thing about her is how she is so happy even when things are tough. For example, she is now 14 weeks pregnant and usually experiences bad morning sickness. Without fail, she wakes up with me every morning at 4:15 am to pack me a lunch and breakfast while I get ready. Even when she feels so sick, she always takes such good care of me. Shelbs I want you to know how much I love you and am proud of the choices you have made. Give baby Peyton a belly rub for me!

Little Girl in a Big Hat.

This picture is the result of a sad girl when her husband leaves to Alaska for 5 days. Brigham just left this morning and I’m a wreck- as you can see…missing him so much that I tend to wear his clothes around the house! Call me pathetic. I must confess that I havn’t been away from Brig for more than 12 hours in a whole year! And that was the last time he went to Alaska when we 1st started dating. Oh well…I’ll survive! :)

So today I had my 2nd doctors visit. It’s crazy how you wait in the waiting room for 45 min and then the actual appointment is only like 10 minutes. Anyways…we were able to hear the HeArT BeAt so that was way exciting! It was 133. The doctor informed me that normal is between 120-160 and that the lower the heart rate, the more likely it’s a boy! So Brigham was happy when I told him that…but then his friend told him to not get his hopes up because they’re having a girl and hers is normally around 125. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see in 8 weeks!

Can you believe it? Our baby is finally the size of “a small plum”! Approximately 1.25-1.68 inches and close to 0.18 oz. Yes I know. It’s still a small little human, but it’s just crazy to think that that’s growing in me! Soon enough it’s going to be the size of a large lime!..

California <3

Two Thursdays ago, Brig and I headed to Cali for our 1st road trip alone! The first night we stayed in a hotel by Six Flags. On the way, we stopped at the outlets of course & got Brig a stylish new hat (as shown in pictures) & some flip flops.

Friday morning we drove to Six Flags and were there for most of the day. It was Brigham's 1st time there and he loved it! So we decided to be ammusement park nerds & run all the way up the hill to ride X2 before it got too crowded. As we were running past all these teenagers, we kinda stopped for a second to catch our breath. While we were stopped, a couple people ran past us to get to the ride and I heard a girl behind us say..."What idiots...I mean, who runs to the rides? Seriously." Haha.

So approaching X2 we come to find out that you have to pay for a locker before every ride to put your stuff in. Lame. But we did, EXCEPT we forgot to put the most important stuff in my purse that we locked in the locker. Such as.. Keys, wallet, and phone. And if any of you have ridden X2, you know what I'm talking about. Brig was holding onto his pockets the whole entire ride and at the very end, yep...his phone slipped out. Kinda depressing. BUT at least it wasnt the keys right??

At about 3:30, we were done with roller coasters so we headed to our next hotel about an hour away by Knotts Berry Farm. It was way nice! We unpacked all of our stuff, went hot tubbing, went to El Toritos for dinner, walked around the mall, ate icecream at Berrysweet (amazing.), and got back massages from chairs in Bed Bath & Beyond (Brig informed me that I have some competition with my back massages).

The next morning, we went to Mimi's Cafe for breakfast. DeLiCiouS. I recommend the blueberry stuffed french toast. mmmm. But not if you're trying to eat healthy.

We packed up and headed to Knotts at about 12. Speaking of packed...Knotts was insanely crowded. We were in line for 1 1/2 hr for our 1st ride. And as you know...the ride is about 1 min long! haha. But it was worth it! We rode a total of 3 rides in 4 hrs, then were pretty much sick of lines, so we left and headed to

the Angels stadium where we met Brigham's aunt & uncle there. They got us front row tickets! Brigham was in heaven! After the game we stayed at there house & chatted til midnight. They are the coolest people. Sunday morning, she made us a deicious egg casserole & we headed to church.

After Sacrament meeting, we left to drive home. It was depressing to see the temp. change as we got closer to AZ. :(

We miss California! The weather was so nice there! But we're glad to be home. :)
