Brigham = Bball Star

So basically my husbands amazing. I look forward to my Thursday nights...going to watch Brigham play bball in his league. He's definitely the star of his team! What can i say? I married a super star!
So last thursday he tied the game with 1 second left, shooting a 3 (left handed)! Then, with two seconds left of the game- 2 points behind- and what do you know. He shot another 3 and won the game! I told you he's amazing.
He should be on ESPN for it.
And the best part was that we got to celebrate at Bahama Bucks! I was a happy camper.

Valentines Day

Brigham was his sweet self and decided to suprise me when I got home from work on Friday, with roses and tropical starbursts! O and also with a spotless house. Which is the best thing a man can do for a woman! So...I decided i should probably be sweet as well. So Saturday morning I decided to try...keyword-try...to make Brigham a delicious Valentines day breakfast! So I ran to the store, bought what i could find, and scurried back home. I began to first cook the bacon. Lesson #1. do not put too much oil in the pan when cooking bacon. ya. that resulted in a burnt smell and loud noises which could've potentially woke up my lover. While trying to cook the bacon, I began cutting the strawberries and attemted to make the strawberry glaze for the waffles. That was actually about the only successful part! I then mixed up the waffles and as easy as waffle mix sounds, its not. Lesson #2. Do not forget the oil in the waffle mix. THAT resulted in waffles sticking to the waffle maker. O and i even added pink food coloring to the waffles. Which didn't really make a difference considering that the second batch of waffles were left in the waffle maker too long! While the 3rd batch of waffles were cooking, I set the table with a cute table cloth, napkins, candy, plates and cups. AND brigham's favorite-chocolate milk. I managed to cook up some egg and even tried to dye those red. Lesson #3. Do not try to put food coloring in your fried eggs. So through this process there were about 3 calls to mom and a woken up..husband. Lesson #4. don't cook without a man. Long story short. the breakfast tasted somewhat good! Or at least Brigham didn't die on Valentines day :)
