Maddix Brigham Weight joined our little family on February 9, 2010 at 1:45pm. He is such an angel. He weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and is 21 in long. He has dark brown hair and the cutest little face ever. He definitely looks so much like his daddy, but has his mommy’s coloring.
Have you ever had to leave the hospital without your baby? I’m sure several of you have and that’s what I’m finally coming to accept! Maddix has jaundice so he had to stay at the hospital 1 more night. This morning we called to see how he’s doing and they said that his bilirubin level went up more and that they needed to keep him monitored for 6-8 more hours. Hopefully he’ll be able to come home after that! We miss him!

Through all this it made me think of everything that I’m grateful for:
- The gospel- I can’t imagine my life without it. I am so grateful to have a strong testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ.
- The Plan of Salvation- I love knowing that I can live with my family for eternity.
- Brigham- I have such an incredible husband. He is such a hard worker and has such a strong testimony. He treats me so well. I love him so much!
- Maddix- I am so excited to have Maddix in our family. This little guy is such a sweetheart and brings us so much joy!
- Family- I have the most amazing family. My parents are great examples and do so much for us. I love being a part of the Weight family as well. They are so much fun to be around!
- Temple- I love going to the temple with Brigham. I love going there and feeling the spirit so strong. It is such a beautiful place. I am so grateful to have the temple so close by!

congratulations you two!!! Being parents is the BEST! Maddix is soooo cute!!!! Enjoy every moment with him because believe me they grow entirely too fast!! Lol Im so happy for you guys!

Congratulations, you guys! He is precious. Hate to say it, but take advantage of the time he is in the hospital to rest and heal! Even though it's hard.
