dear maddix. you are now F O U R months old..wow does time fly! we love you so much more everyday & cant imagine life without you. you make us so so happy. you love laughing with daddy when he get’s home from work. you are now able to roll onto your back from your tummy so well! you’re such a talker! {definitely got that from your daddy}. we love how big your smile gets when you see us come to get you from your crib. we think you are the cutest little boy around…even at 3 o’clock in the morning. i love how whenever i say prayers with you i open my eyes to see a sweet little boy staring at me with a huge teeth-less smile! you enjoy watching sports with daddy {mommy’s not sure if that’s a good thing or not}. you stare at us as we walk away from you. you love staring at your handsome self in the mirror! you can’t get enough of your feet/thumbs/hands/mommy’s hands. i can easily say that your blue silky blanket & mommy’s baby blanket are your new best friends during naps & through the night. you have already had 2 haircuts since you were born! you have beautiful dark brown hair that is definitely going to stay brown. yay! {sorry daddy!} & H U G E dark blue eyes that we absolutely adore. you have the cutest dimples ever.. you are a great combination of both your mommy & daddy. you have your daddy’s face & your mommy’s coloring. no you are not mexican. you are 100% white. just to get things straight. today at your doctors appointment the doctor informed us that you now weigh a whoppin 15 lbs 8 oz {70th percentile}. me & daddy have decided that you will play soccer & basketball {due to your love for kickin those long legs & also your lengthy body! 25 1/2 in – 70th percentile}. well daddy is convinced that you will be playing soccer, basketball, baseball, football & golf. maddix, not to make you self conscious or anything, but we would like to let you know that when leaning to the side you have about 10 separate rolls. they are precious. maybe this will help motivate you to not want to eat every 2 hours?? besides the point, we are so happy to have you in our family & can’t wait to spend eternity with you! you are such a sweet, fun, happy, handsome, boy.
